My Friends...

There are many more friends who are really close to me, though not as much as those I alrady wrote about. They include Anil, Keerthi, Meghamsh, Balaji, Anurag, Mahesh, Neela, Sudhon from the hostel; Sherry, Ulli, Apurva, VP, Rishi from the institute but not from my hostel; Murli, Srikant, Madhukar, Ravi from school......these guys are mainly the guys that I am usually found to be with depending on where I am......

I don't know if any of the above guys would read this blog (of course I'll send 'em links :P) but if you do..."Guys...THANX for being there!" Of course, I am sorry if I missed out on any one.......

He is a guy who is almost like me in all respects...we have very similar scores as well as attitude towards life. We are really very comfortable with each other and he is like the Arun from school I wrote about. Maybe that's what made me be friendlier with him than I would have been otherwise!

He is one I met at college...my neighbour at hostel actually. He is a hardworking guy with a never-say-die attitude, though I guess, after three years with me, he's also starting to be a bit more cynical about everything in life. He can be relied upon to do anything you ask him to do so long as he thinks it is worthwhile attempting it.

My first friend at college...I remember hearing somewhere that friendships made in college are not forgotten ever. I hope it is true. This is a spiritual guy who is very much into Swamy Vivekananda's teachings. He is very straight-forward and he goes about minding his own business. He is a calm and cool chap. This is what I like about him, as also the spiritual discussions that we have.

Next on the list..he's the only other schoolmate who's in the inner circle of my friends. He's a nice chap & fun to be with. He is a bundle of paradoxes: i think he is the only one apart from me, that I know of, who has a huge ego as well as a very deep inferiority complex.....I call it being overly modest :P. Also he is so carefree and damn philosophical at the same time. He trusts me with everything in life and I am like his friend-philosopher-guide along with Arun. He is another guy who definitely will stick with me till whenever I can think of now.

He is the guy who has been with me for like as long as I remember. The first true friend I really had!!! He's been a permanant fixture in my life and I think he is the one who knows me best in all the world....maybe better than what I know of myself. He is a cynic like me and we both had the same mindsets since school. Its like we are damn similar in all respects, mentally! He is one person who I know will be by my side forever. One thing that I like about him is his new-found courage, rather bordering on impetuousness: something which I feel I should develop too.
